BY-LAWS of the
"ASPHALT GLADIATORS" CAR CLUB
NAME
The name of the organization hereinafter shall be the "ASPHALT
GLADIATORS" CAR CLUB
OBJECTIVE
The objective of the car club shall be to promote and foster automotive
interests including, but not limited to, participation in club activities. The
members will be dedicated to the preservation, restoration and enjoyment of
all
year models. To promote cooperation and social activity among its members is its
prime objective.
MEMBERSHIP
Members of the original "ASPHALT GLADIATORS" will be the only
CHARTER MEMBERS.
CHARTER MEMBERS will be issued a special ID card #'s 1-25, all other members
will be issued a regular ID card # 25 up.
DUES
To be determined by vote at the first meeting.
MEETINGS
Official Club meetings will take place on an as needed basis. Meetings are never
mandatory, participation within the club is always
voluntary.
OFFICERS
The club shall have the following officers:
President
Vice President
Treasurer
Historian
Club Photographers (2)
Club Ambassadors (5)
BYLAWS
Bylaws will be reviewed every two (2) years or as needed.
AMENDMENT OF BYLAWS
A special bylaws review can be called for by the president at any time
he/she feels it is necessary.
An amendment of bylaws must be approved by a majority vote of members
present at a club meeting following the proposal.
After each review and vote by members, any amended copy of bylaws will be
furnished to all active club members.
CLUB PLAQUE
The CLUB PLAQUE will be the same as in the original "ASPHALT
GLADIATOR" Car Club, used from 1962 - 1965.
Members are not required to purchase plaques, but
plaques will be available
when orders reach an affordable number, 25 or more.
